Knights of The Old Republic has been available on Android devices since December 2014. Finally, today,  its sequel launches on Android and IOS at the hefty price of $14.99. Developed by Obsidian Entertainment, the title originally launched on PC back in 2004. Aspyr Media is responsible for mobile ports of Knights of The Old Republic II and its predesesor. promises players the game is fully optimized for mobile gameplay.

The game takes place five years after the events of the previous game. The Jedi are on the brink of destruction and the Republic is collapsing.  Meanwhile the Sith are traversing the galaxy, searching for and neutralizing any remaining Jedi. Players take on the role of The Exiled. A former Jedi, for years the player character has been in exile. Similar to the original KOTOR, your choices matter. Player’s decisions determinte whether they succumbs to the dark side of the force or stay true to the light side. Players will travel the galaxy, engage in a compelling interactive narrative and use their lightsaber and the force to defeat their myriad enemies.

Knights of the Old Republic is oft praised as the best Star Wars game. It is a strong contender for the best Android RPG of 2020. One can only hope Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords leaves Android and IOS players as every bit as enchanted as its predecessor did.
