Get Ready For Some Hoops
Lightspeed Studios, in collaboration with Level Infinite, has appointed three-time NBA All-Star Rudy Gobert as European spokesperson for the upcoming NBA Infinite. It is a new PvP Android basketball game which is set to launch on February 17.
The announcement comes in lieu of the launch, with Gobert representing the game. He is a winner of an Olympic silver medal with the French national team. He is also three-time NBA defensive player of the year. Gobert will represent the game for European markets to endorse the game’s launch.
Serious Star Power
But that’s not all. Gobert is not the only star athlete to feature in the launch. NBA All-Star Karl-Anthony Towns has been appointed as the icon athlete for NBA Infinite. He will also feature in the game with other key players such as RJ Barrett, De’Aaron Fox, Tobias Harris, Jrue Holiday and Andrew Wiggins.
There is a considerable star power to look out for with NBA Infinite. However, that is not all. Players will get to experience play-by-play calls in-game from veteran NBA announcer Mark Jones, who is a celebrity in his own right. However, the game is aiming at a significant global engagement. For that, there will be regional sportscasters in Germany, France and Brazil. This is to give international players and fans an immersive experience, as well as expert commentary. This mean featuring Michael Körner, who is a well-known German basketball commentator for NBA. The same goes for Xavier Vaution, who has represented the NBA’s in France with his dominating commentary. Rômulo Mendonça, a well-known Brazilian commentator for NBA, will also feature. Suffice to say, all round engagement would not be a problem with NBA Infinite.
NBA Infinite is free to play and is available on iOS and Android starting February 17. It is available to pre-register, with latest news available on the official website.
