Nier to the Edge
The NieR series marked its 10th anniversary this year. Projects marking the occasion include a remake of NieR Replicant appearing on consoles and PC for the first time in the west this April. Franchise Characters have also appeared in crossovers with various mobile RPG games like SiNoAlice. The celebration continues July 28th with the release of the free-to-play NieR Reincarnation.
The player takes on the role of a nameless girl as she explores a great dungeon known as The Cage. Guided by a ghost-like creature known as Mama, the girl encounters monsters which she must overcome in order to learn more about the Cage and her own identity.
Life in the Cage
You will experience NieR Reincarnation via two modes: exploring an overworld with the girl and automated combat with minimal input. Players can also switch battles to automatic mode freeing them from having to make any input.
At launch, players will be given 3000 gems to spend on characters and weapons. A special collaboration gacha between Reincarnation and NieR Automata will also run alongside other day 1 events.
