SanDisk Storage Products Review and Giveaway

  • July 15, 2020

Android SanDisk Storage 1
Spread the love

Storage issues are undoubtedly a nuisance. They make sure to bother you with regular reminders, keep you from downloading more content and significantly slow down your phone. Hardware manufacturers are aware of how valuable storage is among consumers and so, they use this information to charge exorbitant amounts of money for high storage devices.

The Problem

The problem is, quite obviously, insufficient storage. It’s either wasting a significant amount of time and effort every other day to clear cache, unwanted data and apps that are no longer in use. Or, it’s paying a considerably more for a new device with better storage. This translates to a serious problem for Android gamers who wish to keep numerous games on their smart phones.

The Solution

SanDisk storage products are one of the simplest, fastest and most affordable solutions out there. With their current line-up designed to fix storage issues in Android phones, you do not need to worry about space ever again. Let us go over each of these blessings-in-disguise one by one.

SanDisk Storage Product #1: Ultra Dual Drive USB Type C

The Dual Drive USB has got to be the mother of all memory sticks. With a USB Type-C connector in addition to the standard USB Type-A port, this stunning product by SanDisk allows you to easily transfer games between devices. This meant a few things for me. It allowed me to back up all my favorite games to USB to make space for new games. I also used it to transfer games to and from my Android phone and tablet to my PC. When I was on the go, I carried my games safe and sound with me.

Fast, Reliable and Economical

The Dual Drive USB provided an exceptionally fast USB 3.1 performance of up to 150MB/s. Not only did this reversible connector act as a reliable liaison between my devices but it did that within the blink of an eye. Available in capacities as high as 256 GB, it came well-suited to fit tons of games and other content.

Despite its highly impressive specs, the Dual Drive USB is surprisingly inexpensive. Even though SanDisk has a record of producing highly reliable products that you can count on for years, the memory stick comes with a five-year warranty.

One-of-a-kind Design

Everyone who has ever used a USB in their life can attest to the fact that they’ve felt like a champion plugging it in correctly on their first attempt. Otherwise, it’s a process of flipping it a couple of times to realize which side goes up. The Dual Drive USB changed the game completely with its symmetrical design making plug-in easier than ever.

Its compact size does in no way mean that it won’t be able to endure the perils that may arise from carrying it around, all thanks to its robustness and sturdiness. One of the most well thought out features of the Dual Drive USB has to be its slide-out design which allowed me to tuck the USB interface inside its body whenever it wasn’t plugged in. This ensured its protection and lessened chances of damages while the stick was being transported. I am not the most responsible when it comes to taking care of my devices, but I never had to worry about it getting scratched.

File Management has Never Been Easier

Personally speaking, this was my favorite part. Along with the flash drive, SanDisk also offered the SanDisk Memory Zone app to download from Google Play. Said app made file viewing, accessing, managing and backing up easier than ever. Moreover, its automatic feature moved my files from my device to the drive without requiring any sort of input from me.

SanDisk Storage Product #2: Extreme MicroSD Card

Blindingly Fast Speed

I tested the SanDisk Extreme MicroSD Card with my Android phone and drone and, needless to say, I was thoroughly impressed. You may argue that even an off-brand memory card is able to do the job but here’s the thing: not all memory cards have the ability to quickly process 4K footage and RAW files. The Extreme MicroSD Card with its UHS Speed Class 3 and Video Speed Class 30 means it can handle 4K photos and videos, as well as all other traditional file types.

With a reading speed of up to 160MB/s and a writing speed of up to 90MB/s, it let me shoot and transfer extremely huge files and at quick speeds. I let my drone sit outside for quite a while so I have a heavy file to test the card with. It certainly didn’t let me down as my 27-minute 4K footage took just around two minutes to transfer. I recorded in Full HD and captured quite a few burst shots with my phone, and not once did I experience lag.

For Severe Conditions

The Extreme MicroSD Card came fully prepared for every condition. It may be small but had a highly durable shockproof, temperature-proof, waterproof and X-ray-proof body. It didn’t warm up despite of all the intense work I made it do.

Excellent Value for Your Money:

There’s more on how the Extreme MicroSD Card makes your digital life considerably easier. It comes with a full-size adapter allowing you to download files to your phone, tablet, PC or other devices. Plus, it provides compatibility with the MobileMate USB 3.0 Card Reader making it incredibly easy for you to transfer files frequently and quickly. Lastly, it’s A2-rated which means you get smooth app performance leading to a great smart phone experience. All in all, available in capacities up to 1TB, the Extreme MicroSD Card is a brilliant one-stop solution. The best part is it’s appropriately priced like all other SanDisk storage products.
