Flipping the Script
Fans of interactive storytelling may just have good reason to rejoice as Scripts: Untold Secrets arrived on Android this week. The ambitious debut from SkyRise Digital boasts interactive narratives from a plethora of genres, promising a story for everyone. For the creatively inclined, Scripts offers a creation mode allowing players to pen their own stories to share with the world.
As in any interactive narrative, Scripts: Untold Secrets allows players to make choices at key points, shaping how the story progresses. Coupled with multiple choices and character customizations, Scripts aims to fully immerse players in its stories. The title currently offers over 20 curated stories alongside countless community written stories for players to jump into. Stories cover multiple genres and are updated weekly. This aims to keep players coming back regularly for new content.
Scripts: Untold Secrets is free on Android but offers in-app purchases in the shape of “diamonds”. Diamonds can unlock certain story choices. Judging by the title’s reviews on Google Play, a hefty portion of players are upset that these IAP choices are typically the most interesting. Watching ads grants players diamonds. However, players have pointed out the game sometimes crashes before giving them out. Hopefully, however, SkyRise Digital can right the ship in the coming days for their fans.
