Legends of Light and Dark
Skylanders Ring of Heroes’ recent update introduces a plethora of new features to the hit mobile RPG. While most of these features serve as simple quality of life improvements, developer Com2uS has also included a new premium summon system, as well as a new Legendary Skylander.
The newly introduced Light and Dark Premium Summon system allows players to efficiently diversify their Skylanders roster. As the name suggests, this new summons system will grant only Light and Dark element Skylanders. These are particularly powerful characters due to the nature of their elements—Light and Dark are weak to each other, but not to any other elements. As such, Light and Dark support characters are a strong pick for a balanced team against any enemy, which is especially true of the newly released Skylander, Light Hex.
A New Skylander Rises
Along with the new summon system comes Light Hex, a Legendary Skylander with extremely versatile support capability. Her combat abilities allow her to boost her team’s resilience in battle, while also removing buffs from enemy combatants. Light Hex’s leader skill also grants all allies immunity to the Diminish (damage over time) debuff in Adventures and Challenges. Overall, Light Hex provides utility and extra survivability for her team, regardless of whether she’s in the leader slot.
If you’re looking to recruit Light Hex or other Light/Dark element heroes to your ranks, you’re in luck. Along with the new Light and Dark Premium Summon system, Skylanders Ring of Heroes has launched an in-game event that allows players to get their hands on some powerful rewards. This event runs until March 25th and gives players a chance to earn Light/Dark Premium Summon tickets. Each ticket grants a Light or Dark Premium Summon at no cost to the player. Whether you’re a veteran who wants to get their hands on Light Hex, or a rookie looking to expand their roster, now is the time to try your luck with the new summon system.
