Terminus Games’ Idle Mythos is an action packed idle RPG for Android and iOS, inspired by mythology of various cultures. Command a group of gods, warriors, spellcasters and creatures of myth to combat enemies in an arena-style battlefield. Terminus Games stuck with traditional RPG character classes, so Idle Mythos will be familiar to regular MMORPG players. Choose between tanks, support, casters and healers to build a team of heroes to complement your play style. The character models are sharp, colorful and entertaining, evocative of Soul Calibur with an old school splash of Kal Online.
Story mode takes you through legendary realms, riddled with monsters and bosses. Outfit your heroes with new gear and even merge them together to summon greater champions as your foes grow in strength. And while you’re AFK your heroes will play, earning you gems, gold, honor, and gear that accumulates for up to twelve hours at a time. But you might not even want to leave your heroes alone in idle-land, as there is already a surprisingly active online community. Join guilds, meet friends – or enemies – in the chat, and take your skills to the arena to prove your worth. Arena seasons refresh rankings and rewards. There are plenty of in-app purchases, but this is certainly not an all-out pay-to-win system.
Idle Mythos for Android and iOS is looking like a promising step up for Terminus Games. They’ve overcome the language barrier of their debut game Royal Dream that was a turn off for western gamers.
