New Hero, New Adventures
The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross turned two-and-a-half last week, and developers decided to celebrate. On August 2nd, Korean studio Netmarble announced the “2.5th Anniversary Holy War Festival.” The festival includes a new story chapter, new character, and five new limited-time events.
The timed events include the Rampaging Darkness Festival Draw, which lets players unlock the new character Berserk Estarossa. Players can also get Holy War Festival Heroes through the same draws. Meanwhile, the Holy War Festival Check-in Event lets players get significant rewards for logging in during its 28-day period. These include up to 180 premium currency Diamonds and a variety of high-level items.
The Death Match Cooperation Event also lets The Seven Deadly Sins players accrue points so they unlock server-wide rewards. Participants will receive different rewards based on their level of contribution. On a somewhat related note, the Death Match – Lamek Returns event lets players earn points and rewards by defeating bosses. These rewards include a Guaranteed SSR Ticket, 2.5th Anniversary Card Pack and a “Love” costume for Estarossa. The fifth event, Hawk’s Dreamland Adventure, features an idle mini-game with automatic combat. Rewards include a 2.5th Anniversary Card Pack and the “Faith” costume for the character Melascula.
The Quest Continues
Finally, the addition of Story Chapter 24 lets players continue the plot of The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross. For those unfamiliar with the game, The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross is based on the similarly named manga and anime series. The series follows a princess as she recruits a band of disgraced knights to save her kingdom after a successful coup. Originally published from 2012 to 2020, the manga comes in 41 volumes and has multiple anime adaptations.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross came out in 2020, and you can check out its Hardcore Droid Review by Pam Ferdinand. Also, check back later for more news and updates here on Hardcore Droid.
