Enter a Whole New World
Tower of God: New World is a Role-playing game developed by Netmarble. The game centers around the main character Bam as he climbs the Tower in search of his friend. The vibrant and beautiful RPG is based on the Webtoon of the same name.
Players must collect characters, train, and develop their skills as they battle to climb the Tower. Tower of God: New World lets players experience a vibrant RPG with gacha game elements. This includes collecting characters from the Webtoon by summoning them, as well as collecting characters created just for the storyline of the game. Tower of God: New World brings players to enter a whole new world and it does it with style and class.
Climb to the Top
Tower of God doesn’t offer a unique mix of turn-based and real-time combat. Truly, if you have played one mobile RPG, you will recognize a lot of the same game mechanics here. Elements like Collecting and upgrading characters—assembling teams based on character skill and abilities.
While it does offer an exciting layer of strategy the selling point that makes Tower of God: New World unique is the impressive storyline. It hooks the player in and makes you want to climb the Tower to see what happens next in the story. What makes Tower of God: New World special is the puzzle-solving and exploration elements that mirror characters and challenges straight from the Webtoon. Consequently, these mechanics made me want to play Tower of God: New World for hours. I defeated each boss at the end of every floor, as I continued to climb to the top of the Tower.
Tower of God: New World also offers an arena and guild mode aside from the story. Though I spent most of my time with the story; guild and arena mode, I was able to explore additional character synergies. This kept my interest in the game longer than I anticipated. In arena mode players utilize combat powers to gain rewards. While in guild mode players joined forces with 100 players to complete challenges and compete against other guilds.
Addicted to the Climb
In a world full of gacha RPG games it is difficult to discern which games are fair and which ones are not. Don’t worry, we have you covered here at Hardcore Droid. In truth, the drop rates for summoning characters and items are kind and generous. You can collect most characters by playing Tower of God for free. I played this beautiful RPG for over 40 hours and collected every SSR character the RPG had to offer.
Despite not having any original RPG game mechanics, Tower of God offers an immersive and well-crafted single-player experience. Additionally, the vibrant and glossy graphics led to a game that truly matched the quality of the Webtoon. This is especially true during cutscenes and when characters utilize special abilities during combat.
Tower of God: New World excels in telling a wonderful story that is faithful to the Webtoon. While not perfect by any means, the RPG never overstayed its welcome and gave me multiple hours of fun gameplay. Ultimately, I would recommend Tower of God: New World to anyone looking for their next RPG. The hours of content won’t make players break the bank and the captivating story will have players addicted; climbing to the top of the Tower will be the only thing on your mind.
