ANA NEO has officially launched its virtual travel platform for Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, the Philippines and Malaysia along with their official website. ANA GranWhale uses advanced gaming technology to immerse users in digital recreations of various places around the world through the metaverse. Travel to Kyoto, Hokkaido and other cities and experience their culture without worrying about luggage. Discover realistic historical buildings, scenery and attractions in a game-like adventure and meet with your friends in real time. People in these countries can find ANA GranWhale on the App Store or Google Play. For the rest of the world, fret not, ANA NEO has plans to expand to more countries in the near future.
How?
Users will create an avatar to go adventuring on V-TRIP, allowing them to explore with friends, family or by themselves. Besides the typical tourist attractions, ANA GranWhale also has guides, recommendations and seasonal events to explore cities in depth.
Furthermore, users will have access to the Sky Mall, a shopping center within the metaverse with exclusive stores. Interact with the staff, purchase unique virtual or physical items and content and hang out with friends. Members of the ANA Mileage Club can use their miles on the Sky Mall, where they can style their avatars with new clothes and access other digital goods. Non-members can get V-Miles by purchasing them through the App Store or the Play Store. Another way is by completing missions, increasing the Traveler’s Rank and interacting with in-app content.
