For the Omnissiah
Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus players can now grab a new Adeptus Mechanicus hero. Tan Gi’da is an elite Skitarii Marshal, and laser accuracy and field commands will dispatch the Imperium’s enemies with ruthless efficiency.
2022’s Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus sees players collecting heroes from multiple 40K factions and leading them in tactical turn-based battles. Within the grim future of Warhammer 40K, the Tech-Priests of Adeptus Mechanicus oversee and maintain the Imperium’s advanced technology. The Skitarii serve as the Adeptus Mechanicus elite military force. These cybernetic warriors are known for their impressive accuracy and unrelenting faith in the Omnissiah.
Marshals like Tan Gi’da are veteran warriors functioning as intermediaries between the rank-and-file Skitarii and their Tech-Priest masters. His passive Control Edict Ability summons Skitarii Vanguards on adjacent tiles. Meanwhile, his Doctrine Imperatives Active Ability lets players toggle between two different effects. Protector Imperative gives Tan Gi’da and nearby allies a bonus to armor, while Conqueror Imperative grants a damage bonus against enemies with reduced armor.
Battle Pass and New Boss
Warhammer: 40,000: Tacticus players can also explore the newly launched Battle Pass system. Those who do can unlock the Black Templar Ancient Thoread. A Space Marine standard bearer, Thoread’s active and passive abilities make nearby allies more effective in combat.
Finally, players team up to challenge a new Guild Boss. The Rogal Dorn Battle Tank is Tacticus’ first vehicle boss. Armed with an Oppressor Cannon and thick armor, the player must think tactically to take down this rolling juggernaut.
