Invasion Repellant
The Earth is under attack by aliens! An RPG from Glaciers Game, X-Hero: Idle Avengers gathers unique heroes to repel the invasion. However, these heroes are neither the X-Men nor the Avengers. Instead, they’re knockoffs attempting to be original. There’s even two that strongly resemble the Joker and Harley Quinn. But that doesn’t mean they’re useless. Every hero comes with a variety of powers and skills used to assist allies and defeat enemies. The more powerful heroes have voice lines not only for attack moves but also as indicators of personality. Listen to the plague doctor-like hero, Desperate Crow, wax deep Gothic poetry. Or Blaze Centaur, the centaur knight, shout about fighting with courage. You can only choose six heroes to fight, but there’s at least dozens, if not hundreds, of heroes to recruit.
Animated Superpowers

Summon heroes at the Summon Tower to get heroes from six different factions: Dark, Superman, Technology, Nature, Universe and God. Faction type determines both a hero’s appearance and type of powers. For example, a Nature hero, Lady Icy, has ice powers, and a practical full-body blue-and-white super suit. Tap on their hero card to see them move and hear a random voice line. Each hero has three or four skills to help them in battle. They increase in power when a hero levels up to a certain number, such as 20 and 80. Skills are unique to every hero and range from restoring HP to attacking random enemies. Additionally, there are four different slots for armor and weapons that can give a much-needed boost to a hero’s stats. Some examples include the shiny Shatterstar Armor and sharp Thunder Warblade. Enhance both the armor and weapons to make them more powerful.
Rewards & Minigames

Heroes fight enemies through several real-life locations like New York and Nevada. Battles are divided into 10 levels and usually take three or more rounds to complete. A booming voice announces when a hero kills more than one enemy at once, adding to the enjoyment. There is the occasional boss battle level that rewards you with armor and weapons after a win. Tap the quick equip button under a hero to equip the strongest types. Enhancing armor and weapons takes both coins and vibranium. The latter is won in the Time Travel building, after winning battles against different groups of enemies. Coins, along with hero exp, are earned through playing the main campaign. Another way is to fight enemies at Galaxy Wanted, which additionally provides enhancement stones. Once a hero reaches a certain level, enhancement stones are needed to upgrade them to the next. Doing so increases their stats significantly.

Completing levels in the main campaign earns stars, and every 30 stars provides different rewards like summon scrolls and hero pieces. Scrolls and hero pieces both summon heroes. Another way to earn rewards is by completing quests. Between daily, weekly, monthly and achievement quests, it’s near impossible to run out of rewards. Earn coins and sometimes diamonds after completing 10 levels in the main campaign or by summoning a hero, for example. Diamonds allow you to buy items at the shopping mall and even summon heroes. The more you play, the more there is to do. Win a spaceship, assign heroes to quests at the Cyber Bar, and more. X-Hero: Idle Avengers absolutely overflows with content. No real money needs to be spent to enjoy the experience. My only issue was that some female heroes wore unnecessarily revealing outfits. Exposed boobs and legs add nothing to any of those characters.
Superhero Squad
With so much to do and see, X-Hero: Idle Avengers is a stimulating adventure. Colorful heroes to collect, multiple rewards to earn, and exciting places to go all succeed in keeping your attention. Though some female characters have questionable fashion choices, players will want to keep this game just to see what else will unlock. Grab your team and go save the world!
