Become the Scholar, a Melee/Ranged Fighter
Developer Netmarble has released a new update for its mobile game A3: STILL ALIVE. The update for this dark fantasy MMORPG adds a new character class, a new region and a new equipment dungeon. Character maximum levels have also been raised to 160.
The new character class is the Scholar. Netmarble describes the class as “a capable fighter in both melee and ranged combat with four types of summons.” Prior to the update players had a choice between five classes with different play styles: Templar, Wizard, Berserker, Archer and Assassin. The other classes specialized in either melee or ranged combat, making the Scholar the first to use both forms.
The added region of Saeldir promises players “a journey to restore Empress Lunaris’s power.” New quests and a more powerful World Boss are included in the region update. Players can farm for powerful equipment in the new equipment dungeon, Ermondo Mine. On a more technical note, players can now battle without logging in and have more offline capabilities. The offline support also extends to the equipment dungeon, allowing players power ups even while offline.
The recent update adds a great deal to A3: STILL ALIVE. The new class and region serve to change up the game dynamic and add additional content for both old and new players. The added offline support allows players to upgrade and battle without a constant internet connection. Hopefully Netmarble will continue to add more updates like this to the game as time goes on.
