Infinite Dungeon Crawling
A new dungeon crawler, Dungeon Life, is available for early access in Google Play, courtesy of Happy Games LLC. Morgan Bard, the developer behind Dungeon Life, sought to create a game where players can immerse themselves in a title without worrying about their wallets.
There’s an infinite amount of loot for players to collect as they run through the dungeons. The actual fighting in the dungeons is done automatically, with players having the chance to earn more loot through skill bonuses. Loot from dungeons can either be sold or upgraded in the town shops. Players can also craft unique weapons and armor in these shops. Of course, it isn’t just armor and weapons that players can collect but pets as well. Another bonus is that Dungeon Life has full offline functionality and is completely free to play.
While Dungeon Life is shaping up to be a fun dungeon crawler idle, early access means not everything is perfect. The lack of ads is a breath of fresh air since there’s no monetization in the game. Dungeon Life is truly free to play, not free to play with frequent ads. One thing to look forward to is the fairness of in-game rewards since there’s no monetization. That said, increasing the available options for building skill bonuses and character customization is something that would help the fun factor. Plus, adding a soundtrack for the different levels would make the game more enjoyable. Aside from that, there really isn’t anything to detract from playing Dungeon Life and having fun.
I’d recommend checking the early access title out on Google Play if you’re fond of idle games. If you’re curious about the game and want to learn more about it before the official release, you can head to the official website or the Discord Server. There’s also gameplay available on the Happy Games YouTube channel.
