Goofy Strategic Fun
Legions War: Art of Strategy is the latest entry from seasoned mobile developer DivMob. Billed by the developers as an arcade war game, Legions War combines features of base defense and real-time strategy.
Gameplay promises a combination of Totally Accurate Battle Simulator with strategic unit placement akin to the Fire Emblem series. DivMob also appears to have combined both with the autobattler genre. That means players don’t seem to have much input after setting up their units. Legions War: Art of Strategy’s art style is evocative of 2020’s smash hit Among Us but set in medieval times. Additionally, DivMob advertises a range of distinct classes with various strengths and weaknesses to help bring additional variety to the gameplay.
Currently, Legions War is sitting at a 4.0 on the Google Play store. Fans praise the game’s combat but criticize its apparent overuse of ads, loot boxes and repetitive gameplay. Stay tuned for the Hardcore Droid review to see how it holds up!
