Japan’s most revered warriors are taking GungHo Online Entertainment’s prolific free-to-play puzzle game by sword. From now until July 11th, the collaborative event between Puzzle & Dragons and Samurai Shodown. Players can now recruit samurai to their collection of monsters and fight their way through gripping dungeons inspired by Samurai Shodown.
Darkest Dungeon
These new dungeons and other Samurai Shodown additions are filled with several in-game rewards. Samurai Shodown allows players to earn various rewards such as Samurai Shodown Medal – Gold, among others. Samurai Shodown Medals are new collectibles which are tradeable at the Monster Exchange for collab monsters. You can collect them through drops from the new Samurai Shodown dungeon and earned by clearing the Samurai Shodown Challenge. The Samurai Shodown Challenge grants players rewards for clearing each floor and a pull from the Samurai Shodown Memorial Egg Machine upon completing the dungeon. Samurai Shodown II is special in that it is a revamp of the original arcade game of the same name. the rewards for completing the dungeon are 100,000,000 coins for clearing each of its six floors and with one pull from the Pixel Samurai Shodown Egg Machine. You can also team up with two friends and face off against foes in Multiplayer.
Power Up
Returning to Puzzle & Dragons through this dynamic Samurai Showdown collab are fan favorite characters such as Haohmaru, Nakoruru and Ukyo Tachibana. New characters Cham Cham, Earthquake, Iroha, and Shizumaru Hisame are also included. You can unlock the newer set of characters by pulling from the 6 Magic Stones Samurai Shodown Egg Machine. The Samurai Shodown Memorial Egg machine can is accessible for free by simply logging in during the event. GungHo Online Entertainment have truly treated the Puzzles & Dragons player base to a dynamic and epic crossover. Make sure to try it out before the event ends on July 11th!
