Supernatural creatures of all kinds have invaded the world of GungHo’s Puzzle & Dragons in the game’s newest collaboration. Vampires, specters, and beasts have joined thanks to the limited event with Monogatari Series that runs until August 14th.
As the title suggests, Puzzle & Dragons features a combination of puzzle–filled dungeons and monster collection. Players can collect and evolve thousands of different monsters to conquer the game’s dungeons. The limited event expands the game by including characters from Monogatari Series. These characters include Koyomi Araragi, a cursed third-year high schooler looking to restore his humanity. His friends and enemies are available for collection through the 7 Magic Stones! Monogatari Series Egg Machine gacha and the game’s offering a free pull available at the Monogatari Series Memorial Egg Machine.
Event–exclusive dungeons in the puzzle game feature unique villains from Monogatari Series for players to battle to win prizes. These prizes include medals that players can use to exchange for characters like Koyomi Araragi and Apparition Killer at the Monster Exchange. Medals aren’t the only rewards players can earn in these limited dungeons, as first–time clear bonuses are also available. Players can also earn gacha pulls for successful first-time dungeon clears.
A variety of special bundles are available in the in–game store for players. These include limited edition skins, gacha pulls, and even guaranteed rare character pulls.
