Return to the World of the Seven Knights

Return to a world of magic and adventure in the highly anticipated sequel, Seven Knights 2. Players can immerse themselves in Netmarble’s cinematic RPG with epic world-building, team battle sequences and an array of customizable characters. Seven Knights 2 is a high fantasy action-adventure game, continuing the story from the original Seven Knights.

Seven Knights 2 free-to-play gaming options allow players of all skill levels to be successful and find something enjoyable. Fans of the original will appreciate both the old and new storylines blending together to create the experience of Seven Knights 2.

Seven Knights 2 GAMEPLAY

The Journey Continues

Seven Knights 2 is set 20 years after the events of the first Seven Knights game. The first game later received a console version for Nintendo Switch in 2020. Seven Knights 2 plots follow Lene, leader of the Daybreak Mercenaries and daughter of Eileene, member of the original Seven Knights. A sequence of events involving a strange girl named Phiné changes everything. Lene and the Daybreak Mercenaries set out on a quest to find Rudy, the final member of the Seven Knights.

Seven Knights 2 is a single-player gacha system experience and is heavily story-driven. Throughout the gameplay are theatrical cutscenes, merges player controls ad interaction with a cinema-quality storyline. Along with the blended gameplay are integrated stages. Rather than loading from one stage to the next, the story and action flow seamlessly in an immersive experience.

Players control a team of four characters, creating a custom-built team suited for each battle. Each interchangeable character has unique traits so players can strategize for the best possible outcome. Seven Knights 2 allows players the ability to choose from different battle formations. Additions like raids, dungeons and the Celestial Tower are available outside the main storyline to help build characters’ skill levels. Another new feature is the addition of pets to boost character levels.

Play Or Watch

What Seven Knights 2 does well, is for the players who are new to the gaming style. Netmarble has added an easy to follow tutorial that explains the game in real-time. There is also an interesting AI feature where players can choose to let characters move through missions on auto-mode. The auto-feature is not a guarantee to win; players still need to craft a successful four-person team. Missions are won and lost based on your team’s overall skill level.

The Pitfall

Like, similar gacha games, Seven Knights 2 does have a Pay-to-Play system that can make the game much easier. Not that it’s completely negative, however, some players may need to step outside the story missions to level up through raids or the Celestial Tower options. Unfortunately, these options are only available once a day, again slowing down the action. But with daily and mission rewards, Seven Knights 2 is very generous in aiding Free-to-Play players.

Seven Knights 2 CINEMA QUALITY CUTSECNE

Be The Mercenary of Your Choosing

Seven Knights 2 brings back what was enjoyable from the first game while adding in new characters with a fresh story. Players can create custom experiences with multiple ways to play. From changing the difficulty level to team formation mid-battle, it’s up to the player to decide. The slight negative of a possible slower storyline is marginally outweighed by the variety of gameplay throughout the many sidequests and storymode.

Is It Hardcore?
4

Absolutely!

Seven Knights 2 satisfies the nostalgia with a big dash of something new. Blending seamlessly the cinema-quality storyline and epic battle sequences, making it easy to get lost in the fantasy.
