Post-Apocalyptic Cyberpunk MMORPG
Abysswalker, a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk MMORPG, by 9SplayDeveloper; released worldwide last week. The title emphasizes high-end graphics, developed on Unreal Engine 4. Character customization is detailed and the battle animations are flashy.
Abysswalker also offers a weapon swapping system. Players switch between melee and ranged weapons during battle. You’ll have to chain skill combos together in order to defeat your foes. The system purportedly sets the game apart from other mobile MMORPGs. The game will also have a PvP Survival Drill mode, where twenty players will compete to be the last one standing.
Abysswalker also features an interactive storyline for players to discover. A horrible virus called the Scale Disease is ravaging the post-apocalyptic world. It’s up to the player to discover all the conspiracies behind it. The storyline contains multiple diverse dialogue options for players to choose between. Players will even be able to call upon NPCs to help them in battle. You can even call upon Gods to assist you. The game also has multiple pets and vehicles you can collect. Players can find and show off their favorites in-app. The game also appears to have a marriage system where you can marry other characters.
With such a variety of options, it’s clear why Abysswalker emphasizes freedom. The question is: does the game spread itself too thin with this variety or does it manage to pull all these options off in a satisfying way? Well, you can find out for yourself by playing the game right now.
