Animal Garden: Zoo and Farm Review

Animal Garden provides the player with the opportunity to create their own zoo and farm simultaneously.

Animal Garden: Zoo and Farm’s description mislead players into believing they have full control of the design of their farm and zoo. Unfortunately, this game due to a loyal following from previous games made by the same developers has resulted in an unearned four-star rating.

Turbo Rocket Games has created its following through its animal simulation games and most famously WildCraft.

These simulation games are wildly different than Animal Garden. Animal Garden highlights the difficulty faced when creating a new game in the same genre. Due to Turbo Rocket Game’s loyal following, this game has gained popularity while being lackluster. This can be a blessing and a curse because it provides the opportunity for the developers to correct their mistakes should they want to. If you are a fan of Turbo Rocket Games, it may be worth seeing where Animal Garden goes despite the negatives.

This game is aesthetically beautiful and its strongest feature second to its simplicity which is a double-edged sword.

Its simplicity shines with its design features mainly the ability to easily move buildings and design elements. The moving buildings and animals while looking at the whole Farm/Zoo are some of the elements that keep this game interesting. In addition, the exclusion of ads is a fresh surprise as most mobile games are riddled with them.

Animal Garden was previously tested before its full version release but still seems to have missed the mark.

By creating both farming and animal husbandry games within one Turbo Rocket Games has failed at both. The foundation of the game is well built but with the exclusion of small key details, user experience is diminished. For instance, caring for animals takes very little involvement. Tapping an icon above the animal’s head is not the level of interaction fans of Turbo Rocket Games are use. Little details like the shopkeepers and citizens not having names make the game even more impersonal. Animal Garden also has other problems including losing rewards and faulty paths. It is up to fans of Turbo Rocket Games to keep Animal Garden relevant until these problems are fixed.

Animal Garden can be the hit that Turbo Rocket games intended with a bit of serious tweaking. While on its face it seems popular it has only recently come out and the wave of loyalty from previous works will subside. Hopefully, with more user feedback Turbo Rocket Games will be able to create a game just as popular as WildCraft.
