SSR Teammate Verdi Joins The Field
Veteran developer Netmarble, makers of quality titles like Ni Nu Kuni, The Seven Deadly Sins and The King of Fighters Allstar, announced a major update for Tower of God: New World. The new update includes new teammate SSR Verdi, Tower Alliance Game Mode and new events for the month of January.
Verdi may appear as an adorable little girl holding her cute little octopus friend, but as with all in the Tower of God: New World, she is far more powerful than she appears. She is a SSR, purple element, ranged, anima hero known for turning those she likes into her playthings. This has earned her the name “Dollmaker.” She takes out enemies from afar by flinging her deadly little friend to disastrous effect. Additional Verdi content includes a “Verdi’s Hobbies” side story and winter costumes.
Netmarble also announced the Tower of Alliance Game Mode where players can match their alliance with another random alliance of the same rank. Each alliance then attempts to conquer their rival’s floor by floor. Whichever alliance occupies the most of their opponents’ floors is the winner.
January Limited Time Events
Tower of God: New World update also comes with a month of limited time events. The Happy New Year Check-In Event goes from January 3rd through January 18th and features a plethora of goodies. The most consistent players have a chance to earn up to 30 Normal Summoning Tickets and 3000 Suspendium. Players also have a chance to earn new SSR Verdi in the New Year Bingo Event January 3rd through the January 18th. Additionally, January 10th though January 24th players can take part in the Formation Strategy Lesson Event. In this event players select one of three formations (Balanced, Guard or Wedge) up to six times per day. Players can earn tokens that they exchange for various rewards including SSR characters, equipment enhancement materials and more.
Tower of God: New World new update builds on its already successful strategy RPG based on the popular anime. Players join Twenty-Fifth Bam as he ascends the Tower of God in his search for his beloved friend Rachel. Over 70 characters from the show are represented in gorgeous 3D animation. Players build a team of their favorite heroes and must past the harrowing tests each floor offers. Fast paced action and unique battle systems await anyone brave enough to climb to the top.
