Playdigious Releases The Almost Gone onto Google Play
Playdigious’ The Almost Gone dropped onto Google Play this week. This story driven puzzle game takes place in a seemingly quiet suburban neighborhood, but not everything is as it seems. You are, after all, playing as a character stuck between the world of the living and the world of the dead. You have to figure out how and why you died if you ever want to be free of this torturous limbo.
Purportedly, Playdigious’ newest game centers around a masterfully crafted story that propels you through breathtaking graphics. From what we’ve seen of the graphics, the game features clean, simple, and aesthetically pleasing visuals. Joost Vandecasteele, a Flemish writer who has won several literary awards, wrote the story for The Almost Gone. This certainly suggests a compelling narrative.
Putting the story and art aside, The Almost Gone is a puzzle game at heart. With limited knowledge of your death, you embark on an investigation to solve the mystery. Search for clues and complete puzzles that could spark important memories or give you insights into the dark secrets contained in this outwardly innocent looking neighborhood.
This is definitely a game worth checking out. It costs about $5 to download through the Google Play Store, but hopefully this means you will receive hours of uninterrupted gameplay free from ads. Keep your eye out for an upcoming review from us soon.
